Linda Connly joined the Carbonite Board of Directors in February, 2019. Ms. Connly is an experienced operator with more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations. She currently serves as the interim managing director of the Americas at Rackspace, a managed cloud computing company. She is also the Founder and CEO of The Connly Advisory Services, a consulting practice she founded in 2018. In this role, she provides go-to-market advisory services across industries from SaaS, Cloud Services, Healthcare and Manufacturing.
Her expertise in architecting highly effective organizations is highlighted by her work leading the go-to-market integration for Dell and EMC, the largest IT merger in history. During her tenure at Dell EMC, which spanned from 2000 to 2016, she held various leadership roles including leading Global Inside Sales, Strategic Sales Alliances, SMB Sales, National Channel Sales and Global Field Marketing.
In addition to her career experience, Ms. Connly is a former board member of the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals and Old Sturbridge Village. She is also the former chairwoman of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Advisory Board. Ms. Connly has been recognized by the industry and business community for her professional contributions, including the Boston Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award for “Achievement in Management,” VAR Business magazine’s top “50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” and by CRN magazine’s “Top 100 Unsung Heroes.” Ms. Connly holds a B.S. in Business and Finance from St. Anselm College.
