Carbonite Announced as Finalist for TechAmerica Foundation's American Technology Awards
Boston, MA, May 17, 2011 - Carbonite®, a leading provider of online backup, today announced that it has been selected as a finalist in the Cloud Computing /Software as a Service category for TechAmerica Foundation’s American Technology Awards. The awards, known as “The Termans,” bestow the only national “Best Of” awards that recognize all technology products and services across the technology industry. They were named for Frederick Terman, who is widely credited as being the father of Silicon Valley. Nominations for “The Termans” were vetted by industry experts and TechAmerica Foundation leadership.
